ADY Alert is designed to work alongside existing emergency systems, not replace them.

At launch, users and approved participants can bring emergency services into an alert by sharing the ADY Alert meeting code. Over time, ADY may support public-sector integrations, regional monitoring programs, emergency management dashboards, school safety programs, business safety programs, and responder workflows where legally, technically, and operationally appropriate.

Dark Energy Inc. may accept non-cash support that directly helps build, operate, localize, secure, or expand ADY Alert and related public-good safety programs. For significant support, sponsorships, grants, area-based funding, or institutional contributions, ADY can provide secure instructions for bank transfer, wire, or other approved direct payment methods.

In-kind support is reviewed case by case for operational fit, legal compliance, security impact, and mission alignment.

Donation Terms

Simple, clear expectations to protect supporters, preserve trust, and keep ADY operations clean.

1) Payment processing
Support payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Card, bank, crypto, wallet, or instant-payment details are handled by the applicable processor and are not stored by ADY except as needed for reconciliation, receipts, records, compliance, and support history.
2) No goods or services unless stated
Unless explicitly stated at checkout, in an invoice, or in a written agreement, support payments do not create a right to goods, services, ownership, equity, control, or special access.
3) Refunds
If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us promptly at refunds@darkenergyinc.com. Refunds may depend on payment method, processor rules, timing, reconciliation status, and whether funds have already been applied to a designated program.
4) Designated support
If support is designated for a specific purpose, geography, program, or initiative, ADY will make reasonable efforts to apply it as requested. If a designation cannot be honored, funds may be applied to the closest mission-aligned use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Compliance: Support must comply with applicable laws, payment processor rules, sanctions requirements, fraud controls, and ADY acceptance policies.
Receipts: Receipts or acknowledgments may be issued by Dark Energy Inc. or the applicable ADY support entity. Tax treatment depends on the receiving entity, payment type, and applicable law.
Tax: Supporters are responsible for determining deductibility, reporting, valuation, and tax treatment in their jurisdiction. ADY does not provide tax advice.
Recognition: Public recognition, supporter listings, leaderboards, area totals, or sponsorship credit may require review and reconciliation. Supporter information is displayed publicly only with consent. Anonymous support is honored.
Changes: These terms may be updated to reflect operational, legal, tax, compliance, or payment-processing requirements. The version posted at the time of payment governs unless a separate written agreement applies.

Important note: Where applicable, charitable contribution acknowledgments are issued by the qualified tax-exempt entity receiving the contribution.

Support Privacy

ADY protects supporters, users, and community members by default. We do not sell personal information, supporter lists, donation records, contact information, or private user data.

What we collect
We collect only the information needed to process, reconcile, acknowledge, and apply support, including name, email address, payment amount, payment status, receipt details, designation, recognition preference, and limited records needed for accounting, compliance, fraud prevention, and support history.
What we do not do
We do not sell supporter lists. We do not give supporter information to advertisers. We do not monetize supporter data. We do not use support activity to build advertising profiles.
How we use information
We use support information to process payments, provide receipts or acknowledgments, reconcile records, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal and accounting obligations, honor supporter designations where possible, and communicate about support only when needed.
Opt-in communications
If you opt in to updates, ADY may send mission, product, launch, impact, or support-related communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Third parties
Payment details are handled by approved payment providers.
Limited service providers may assist with payment processing, receipts, accounting, reconciliation, compliance, security, or support operations.
Information may also be disclosed if legally required.
